Tracy has had a 20 year love for clay and pottery. When she escapes to the studio she loves to work with every thing from delicate vases, Italian painted pots, character bunnies, exquisite soap dishes, platters in fine leaf design to large sculpted ceramic side tables and gorgeous bowls.
Tracy started ceramics in 2002. She first learned to throw on the wheel and then moved to sculpture and coiling.
Motherhood brought a new sense of fun and fantasy to Tracy-Jane’s artistic expression, and she added Babushka dolls and colourful koi fish to her collection..
Her most popular pieces, however, are the Earthen Amps. With a focus on functional art, Tracy-Jane has created something that is practical but is also a stunning piece of hand-crafted art.
